Notes
'California Giants' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'California Giants') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast into a bushy plant and tolerates drought. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Diablo cosmos, Sylphid celosia, and Red fescue.
