Notes
Peacock plant (Goeppertia makoyana) is a perennial for containers and indoor spaces, and it is easy to care for. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. The leaves show a peacock feather pattern. It grows fast, so repot it every couple years in a peat, sand, and perlite mix.
Pairs well with Prayer plant, Zebra plant, and Brasil velvet-leaf philodendron.
