Notes

'Permanent Wave' rose (Rosa 'Permanent Wave') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright and bears fragrant, medium red blooms from early to late summer. Bees visit the flowers. Matthias Leenders bred it as a sport of 'Else Poulsen'.

Pairs well with Mexican hat, Oakleaf hydrangea, and Casa Blanca lily.
