Notes
Pine lily (Lilium catesbaei) is a perennial for pollinator gardens, containers, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. A single orange flower sits upright at the top of each stem. The petals curve backward and are yellow with purple spots near the base. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Thalia, Blue wild indigo, and Beautyberry.
