Notes
'Pink Shimmer' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Pink Shimmer') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flower use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies, bees, and birds. It also tolerates drought and salt.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Butterfly milkweed, and Indian grass.
