Notes
'Pippa's Purple' Lenten rose (Helleborus 'Pippa's Purple') is a perennial for borders, woodland gardens, and winter color. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Its evergreen leaves emerge with purple veins and mature to mint green on a dark green background. Purplish-pink flowers face outward and appear for months in winter and spring.
Pairs well with Snowdrop, Daffodil, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
