Notes
Pittosporum (Pittosporum illicioides) is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it stays leafy all year. White flowers open from early to late spring. It can reach 12 to 15 feet tall, so give it room to spread.
Pairs well with Purple Pillar rose of sharon, Peony, and Lemongrass.
Native range
Southern China, Japan, and Taiwan.
