Notes

'Poblano' pepper (Capsicum annuum 'Poblano') is a vegetable for food gardens, containers, and borders. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White flowers open from early to late summer, and the plant stays upright at 18 to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Salad burnet, Tarragon, and Egyptian walking onion.
