Notes

Salad burnet (Sanguisorba minor) is an herb for borders, pollinator gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Greenish flowers with purple-tinged styles open from early to late summer and attract butterflies and bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The mounding plant has fragrant green leaves and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Oregano, Paprika yarrow, and Fennel.
