Notes

'Polly' elephant’s ear (Alocasia 'Polly') is a bulb for borders and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist, loamy soil. Its evergreen leaves mix gray, silver, green, and purple. It forms a clump 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Snake plant, Begonia, Cebu Blue pothos, and Bamboo palm.
