Notes
'Portora' elephant’s ear (Alocasia 'Portora') is a bulb for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows 60 to 72 inches tall and 48 to 60 inches wide, so give it room. Its white blooms can appear in any season. Deer tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Thalia, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Tuberose.
