Notes

'Porthilly' daffodil (Narcissus 'Porthilly') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are primrose yellow with a short, orange, frilly cup, and they smell sweet. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Bartzella peony, Big bluestem, and Jackmanii clematis.
