Notes

'Poseidon' rose (Rosa 'Poseidon') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub grows about three feet tall and bears fragrant, fully double mauve blooms with 60 petals. It reblooms through the season, and bees visit the flowers. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it, and W. Kordes Sohne introduced it in 2010.

Pairs well with Blue star, Culver’s root, and Big bluestem.
