Notes

'Primadonna White' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Primadonna White') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flower beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White petals surround an orange-brown center cone from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Little bluestem, and Nodding onion.
