Notes

'Prince of Venice' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Prince of Venice') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. The mauve-wine blooms have a lemon-lime throat and a sweet scent, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit them. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Plants bloom in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Picture tulip, Foxtail barley, and Invincibelle Ruby smooth hydrangea.
