Notes

'Prostrata' Japanese plum yew (Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Prostrata') is an evergreen shrub for borders, hedges, ground cover, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows slowly into an arching mound and tolerates drought once established. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The needles stay green through winter.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Autumn fern, and Toad lily.
