Notes

'Puppy Love' rose (Rosa 'Puppy Love') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. It grows upright to about 47 inches tall. Fragrant orange blooms appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn, and bees visit them. Ernest W. Schwartz bred it in 1978.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Delphinium, and Jacob’s ladder.
