Notes
'Purity' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Purity') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. White blooms open in early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. The flowers are fragrant.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Nodding onion, and Indian grass.
