Notes

'Purple Form' sedum (Sedum hispanicum 'Purple Form') is a succulent for containers, ground cover, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It tolerates drought, spreads about 12 inches, and draws butterflies. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Elfin mother of thyme, Lavandin, and Autumn moor grass.
