Notes

'Quadricolor' thorncrest century plant (Agave ensifera 'Quadricolor') is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It stays compact at 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it is an easy pick for dry spots.

Pairs well with Mediterranean spurge, Elfin mother of thyme, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
