Notes

Quince (Cydonia oblonga) is a shrub for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It bears pale pink to white flowers in spring, and blooms may show again in summer and autumn. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it. Give it plenty of room, since it can reach 12 to 15 feet tall.

Pairs well with Daffodil, Damask rose, and Grape hyacinth.
