Notes

Damask rose (Rosa damascena) is a shrub for borders and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Light pink flowers are fragrant and open in spring and again in summer. Bees visit the blooms, and the light green leaves make a soft backdrop.

Pairs well with Lavender, Foxglove, Peony, and Cat mint.
