Notes

'Radiant' crabapple (Malus 'Radiant') is a tree for pollinator gardens and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Reddish-pink flowers open from early to late spring. They draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Once settled in, the tree tolerates drought.

Pairs well with White trillium, Gladiator ornamental onion, Hummelo betony, and Pink Impression tulip.
