Notes
'Red and White' columbine (Aquilegia 'Red and White') is a perennial for borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Its red and white blooms have yellow stamens and long spurs, and bees visit them. Rabbits tend to pass it by. The plant is short-lived but self-seeds.
Pairs well with Monkshood, Snowdrop, and Royal fern.
