Notes

'Red Dragon' Chinese hibiscus (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Red Dragon') is a shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer and attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer tend to pass it by. It stays evergreen and can reach about 6 to 8 feet tall.

Pairs well with Golden dewdrops, Spartacus dahlia, and Citronella grass.
