Notes

'Spartacus' dahlia (Dahlia 'Spartacus') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are strong red to vivid red on a reddish orange base. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. L.J.C.W. Berbee bred it in 1999.

Pairs well with Maltese cross, Lemongrass, Snapdragon, and Blue Mouse Ears hosta.
