Notes
'Red Flash' angel wings (Caladium bicolor 'Red Flash') is a bulb for containers, accents, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Its clumping leaves reach 24 to 36 inches tall and show red, pink, and green.
Pairs well with Blue star fern, Snow Queen oakleaf hydrangea, Evergold sedge, and Chinese ground orchid.
