Notes

'Red Flash' lily (Lilium 'Red Flash') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The large red flowers are strongly scented and have ruffled petals with recurved tips. Each stem carries up to 8 blooms, and they open from early to late summer. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Indian grass, Bobo hydrangea, and Dancing Queen hosta.
