Notes

'Dancing Queen' hosta (Hosta 'Dancing Queen') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a mound of yellow leaves about 18 inches tall and 30 inches wide. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Lavender flowers are fragrant and draw bees and hummingbirds.

Pairs well with Kansas peony, Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum, and Mount Hood daffodil.
