Notes

Redwood sorrel (Oxalis oregana) is a perennial for ground cover, woodland gardens, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It forms lush green carpets of heart-shaped leaflets and bears white or pale pink flowers. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It spreads with vigor, so keep an eye on it or plant it in a drier spot.

Pairs well with Western sword fern, Wild ginger, and Giant trillium.
