This plant likes part sun to full shade, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The evergreen leaves stay attractive through the year. Plum, pink, red, yellow, and green flowers open from winter into spring.
Pairs well with White Feather hosta, Western sword fern, and Red trillium.
