Notes

'White Feather' hosta (Hosta 'White Feather') is a perennial for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Leaves emerge ghostly white, warm to creamy yellow, then turn green by summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Young leaves are thin and can suffer frost or drying wind, so plant it under cover from shrubs or trees.

Pairs well with Siberian bugloss, Bridal Crown daffodil, and Hummingbird sweet pepperbush.
