'Renkaku' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Renkaku') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The blooms make fine cut flowers for a vase. Give it a spot in a border where its woody stems can stay in place year after year.

Pairs well with Weigela, Spiderwort, Cinnamon fern, and Pink Impression tulip.
