Notes
'Shima-Nishiki' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Shima-Nishiki') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It blooms in late spring with fragrant, purple-red flowers striped with white. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and wide, so give it room to spread.
Pairs well with Francee hosta, Anglojap yew, Black Parrot tulip, and Grape hyacinth.
