Notes

'Rhubarb and Custard' dahlia (Dahlia 'Rhubarb and Custard') is a bulb. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The 3.5 inch blooms have soft peach petals with small light pink and white petals in the center, set over a rhubarb red base. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Protect it from winter wet, or lift and store it in a cool, dry, frost free spot.

Pairs well with Meadow sage, Star of persia, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Sea holly.
