Notes

'H. E. Richardson' rose (Rosa 'H. E. Richardson') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant crimson blooms appear in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the upright habit suits a bed. Hugh Dickson bred it, and H. Kemp introduced it in 1914.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Blue grama, and Inkberry.
