'Rivièra' tulip (Tulipa 'Rivièra') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red blooms open in early to late spring and reach about 22 inches tall. The outside of each flower is scarlet flamed with currant red. Inside, the petals are bright blood red with a canary yellow base and purple anthers.
