Notes

Rock cress (Aubrieta deltoidea) is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It stays evergreen, tolerates drought, and spreads 12 to 24 inches, so give it room. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the spring flowers. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Gold dust.
