Notes

Armenian grape hyacinth (Muscari armeniacum) is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Royal blue bells with a thin white rim open in early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. The flowers are fragrant, so plant the bulbs near a path or seating area.

Pairs well with Greek thimbleweed, Toronto tulip, and Orange Emperor tulip.

Europe, Central Asia, NW. Balkan Pen., and Türkiye.
