'Romantic Returns' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Romantic Returns') is a perennial for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Globe thistle, and Red Velvet yarrow.
