Notes

'Ronaldo' tulip (Tulipa 'Ronaldo') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The brown-purple flowers open from early to late spring. Plants grow 12 to 24 inches tall, so they make good cut stems. Hybris bred it.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Imperial fritillary, Purissima tulip, and Bridal Bouquet peony.
