Notes

'Rose' everbearing strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Rose') is a fruit for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and moist soil. It has semi-double red flowers and medium-sized red fruit. Plants stay compact and send out restrained runners, so they fit containers and hanging baskets. The first crop comes in spring, and more follow at six week intervals until fall.

Pairs well with Black Beauty Tomato tomato, Purple Ruffles basil, and Contender peach.
