Notes
'Fragissimo' pink strawberry (Fragaria ananassa 'Fragissimo') is a fruit for containers, food gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches in a clumping mound. Pink, red, and white blooms open from early to late spring, and bees visit them.
Pairs well with Joan J raspberry, Genovese basil, Berggarten sage, and Southern Comfort coral bells.
