Notes

'Rosea' white evening primrose (Oenothera speciosa 'Rosea') is a perennial for rock gardens, ground cover, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The pink flowers have yellow centers, smell sweet, and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. It is drought tolerant, so it suits dry spots. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Prairie dropseed, and Indian grass.
