Notes

'Siskiyou' white evening primrose (Oenothera speciosa 'Siskiyou') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It spreads 12 to 24 inches with a creeping habit and a moderate growth rate. Its fragrant blooms draw butterflies, bees, and birds.

Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Lamb’s ear, and Grosso lavandin.
