Notes

'White' gaura (Oenothera lindheimeri 'White') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. It forms a compact, rounded mound topped with upright spikes of white blooms. It blooms from early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn, and butterflies visit the flowers. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Cheddar pink, Autumn moor grass, Millenium ornamental onion, and Pugster Blue wand butterflybush.
