Notes

'Royal Splendour' stream firelily (Cyrtanthus 'Royal Splendour') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and cut flowers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun and average moisture. The petals are mandarin-orange with shrimp-red outside, and the throat is deep greenish. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Royal Velvet amaryllis, Adam's needle, Holly fern, and Engelmann daisy.
