Notes
'Rubinato' cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus 'Rubinato') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It sits low on the menu for deer. It grows fast in a clumping form, reaching 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Marmalade black-eyed Susan, Hidcote lavender, and Lollipop purple top.
