Notes

'Scarlet Gem' daffodil (Narcissus 'Scarlet Gem') is a bulb for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Each stem carries 4 to 6 fragrant flowers with primrose yellow petals and a frilled orange cup. P.D. Williams bred it. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Irish moss, and Monsieur Jules Elie peony.
