Notes
'Screamin' yellow wild indigo (Baptisia sphaerocarpa 'Screamin') is a perennial for rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. It bears yellow flowers in mid to late spring. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and can spread 24 to 60 inches wide, so give it room. It is also drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Prairie dropseed, and Iris.
